Louis Vuitton has not abandoned it's Web3 initiaves, and for the first time since Summer, has added a new accessory to their virtual collection, a €6000 Phygital Trunk Bag and linked NFT.
In June 2023 LV released a couple hundred phygital treasure trunks called the "Via Project", for €39,000 and announced a long-term partnership with use Epic Games to use their 3D creation tools for virtual fitting rooms, augmented reality, digital twins, and fashion shows.
Like other brands including Gucci, Adidas, and Prada, Louis Vuitton continues to integrate and grow their presence in the virtual Metaverse. Gucci has been drawing upon it's own digital archives doing trials with AI art to create NFT's, in partnership with Christie's for their second NFT auction. Adidas Web3 journey with project, ALTS by Adidas, came to completion in June 2023, allowing users to experience an interactive storyline by using the PFP to identify themselves in the virtual world. Prada was one of the first to enter the Web3 world in 2019 and have since released 42 monthly drops, with the latest being a phygital tank top in June 2023.

The phygital mini trunk designed by women's wear designer Nicolas Ghesquiere is a square box shape with an even white square grid pattern. The bag is finished with golden corner embellishments and closes on top with a golden clasp, all hanging from a delicate chain strap.
