At the Milanese hot spot for curated designer vintage pieces, Sous Vintage, there are more than a few secrets to uncover. This month on the 28 February the shop will host an event with designer Jade Kitsune who has collaborated with Sous Vintage on the release of their capsule collection, s.e.g.r.e.t.a (Segreta), a collection of upcycled garments, re-imagined with vintage lingerie.
S.e.g.r.e.t.a. brings together sustainability and sensuality with an undertone of rebellion, hinting at past lives and overheard secrets. With the collaboration of the Sous Vintage owners, Luca Balzarini and Andrea Volonté, and the designer Jade Kitsune, it's no surprise that silk, satin and self-expression are at the center of the collection's story.
Nominating the films Lolita and BabyGirl, and the Director David Lynch as major influences, the team draws on inspiration across sultry aesthetics and cinematic moods. To strike the right tone, artists like Noelia Towers, Issy Wood, and Adelisa Selimbasic serve as muses, giving life to the indelible vixens past and present, as imagined by the trio.
The launch party for the collection will be held on the 28th of February at the Sous Vintage Shop at Alzaia Naviglio Pavese 52, Milano, during opening hours. While shopping the new collection, guests will be treated to small bites and drinks, and a special DJ set from artist and performer, La Hasna.
While the event will be one day only, the capsule collection will be available for a short time in store from the 28th February to the 2nd March. This is the perfect event to get perked up for new Spring adventures, discover how upcycling works, and getting a peek at someone's secret story from the past.
